Mike + Kaela = A Wedding!
She will!

Cold drinks were being served back at the dining tent while we waited for a few relatives -- "definitely coming, but running late" -- to arrive. The skies had neither improved nor decayed, but there appeared to be no immediate danger of rain. We sat and chatted. Shortly a large farm bell rang, indicating that we should come take our place in the side yard to witness The Event. The harpist stopped playing and soon Mike & Kaela, with Mike's brother Matt and Kaela's sister Sun attending them, proceeded over to the sundial. The marriage ceremony was facilitated by a college friend of Mike and Kaela's. The ceremony consisted of a few words about the union, the reading of a Shakespearean sonnet, some passages from the Bible, Mike and Kaela exchanging vows that they had written, and finally, exchanging wedding bands. I was standing behind Mike's dad, who I could tell was deeply moved. And why not? Kaela was a lovely bride, in sort of a rose-beige dress, with her hair piled up and she looking just as radiant. And his son Mike was clearly happy and proud as he took Kaela as his bride, in a short (the whole thing lasted about 10 minutes) but very touching ceremony.
